About Us
Purple Mic was founded by two friends brought together by a shared passion for music, sound, creativity, and education.
We met in Berlin while studying audio production and spent countless hours together in recording studios, learning, experimenting, and developing our craft. Over the years, this shared experience evolved into a common vision: creating a space dedicated to high-quality audio production, meaningful creative collaboration, and lifelong learning.
Meet The Team
ANDRES CHATRUC
MUSICIAN, PRODUCER & TEACHER
Originally from Argentina, Andrés has been living in Berlin since 2019. He studied music in Buenos Aires and Audio Production in Germany at SAE Institute, and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Audio Communication and Technology at TU Berlin.
His artistic and professional interests revolve around organic music production, with a particular focus on rock, pop, jazz, and classical music. Through a combination of musical sensitivity and technical expertise, he aims to create a space where artistic expression, sound quality, and human connection come together.
As an educator, he has worked for more than ten years in schools, universities, and music institutions. Teaching and knowledge-sharing remain a fundamental part of his professional identity and artistic practice.
